Come along and join us!
Who are we? A friendly and enthusiastic membership who enjoy coming together to learn and have a lot of fun. We have a great range of groups and activities in the area, and they are open to all members – something for everyone!
Retired? Semi-retired? Live in Warwick, Leamington or surrounding areas? Come and join us! You’ll have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of great social, intellectual or physical activities. We all know that learning and social interaction are a good way to keep fit mentally and physically and any of our groups will help you fill that bill.
So what sort of groups? From languages to science and culture, from walking to indoor and outdoor games, from restaurant visits to coach trips – it’s all there waiting for you and there are 90 groups at present. Everything is organised and carried out by members - u3a is essentially;
"BY US, FOR US"
That means each one of us is an equal volunteer, whether as a group leader, a member of a group, taking on a committee role, helping at events…anything. We all join in and share!
We hold an Open meeting each month, with a speaker, where you can socialise and find out about the different interest groups.
Our Membership Secretary, Ann Bailey can give you information about Warwick District (WDu3a) Membership. Please complete our Membership Application Form (on our membership page) and send to the Membership Secretary.
If you looking to take up an old hobby or discover a new one, then search our Groups page and find a group to suit you. We have everything from arts and crafts to walking or rambling. From listening to music to discussing world affairs. You can search by Category, Venue or by Days of the week. You can join as many groups as you like!
All groups are friendly and fun, a great opportunity to meet like minded people and enjoy time together. The Group Leader will tell you all about the group and introduce you to others. Please make contact with the Group Leader and arrange a day to attend your chosen group/s.
