Our long established group meets in an upstairs room at the Clarendon Arms in Kenilworth. We get ourselves a drink and order lunch before settling down for our discussion at 12.

Most topics begin with an informative introduction by a group member but sometimes if the topic is suitable, we begin a discussion straight away. I try to plan topics about 3 months in advance but a sudden crisis may bring about a change. We have only one rule and that is always to be tolerant and respectful of other people’s views. Recent topics have included ‘Local Government Finance’, ‘The Introduction of a Wealth Tax, ‘The Middle East Crisis’ and ‘The 2024 General Election Campaign’
