Cacophony playing at our annual Friends and Family event on Weds 8th July.  We dedicated the afternoon to our dear friend and keyboard player, Keith Arnold, who so sadly died on the 6th May.  It was lovely that his wife Ann came along to listen to us play.  There were some ex Cacophonites in the audience too,  including John Morgan.  John was our first main conductor from 2012-2024. He became a close friend of Keith’s and gave a heartfelt tribute to him.   After the short performance, conducted by Nick Jakeman, we treated the audience (around 36 people) to refreshments. These included strawberries and cream as well as cakes and biscuits - all provided by members of Cacophony.  The event took place at Redford Semele Community Hall, where we rehearse fortnightly throughout most of the year.  It is a superb venue and 3 members of the Hall committee were also there to help with setting up and serving tea, which was much appreciated.
